The industry oriented Fashion Design program deals with project wise research, design development, pattern making and production techniques, marketing and merchandising, enabling students to acquire a greater appreciation for design and develop a deeper sensibility towards fashion aesthetics in addition to nurturing their individual creative potential.
Hands-on industry exposure provides students with an added advantage over their peers and sharpens their ability for creative thinking, their clarity in ideation and their presentation skills. Students are encouraged to develop their own personal style which they can make their “Own Fashion Statement”. Finally students acquire the ability to conceptualize, design, produce and showcase their collection with confidence and zeal.
COURSE OVERVIEW
The syllabus is the combination of Art, Design Techniques and hands-on workshops
The inter-disciplinary module focuses on innovative design with the composition of art, science, logic and aesthetics.
